    If I'm not mistaken Louis trainer worked with Walcott in the beginning.
    I'm pretty sure Blackburn thought Walcott talented enough to train.
    He beat Bivins,Knocked out Harold Johnson,beat Charles, and Maxim.

    Walcott's "Prime" to me is hard to pin down. I think for Walcott you had age prime(Were he was losing and wining) and fighting prime(Old but winning and heavyweight champ) I do think the Walcott of 1952 could beat any version of the Walcott in his 20's. Take it as you will.

    I knocked out a lengthy post as to why Walcott's best boxing was so late in life a while back. He was still a heckuva performer.
