Golovkin was missing 4-5 shots in a row, I think if he only lands one of those the fight is over.

wtf? canelo wasnt hurt, he came right back and put ggg on the backfoot for the rest of the rd. ggg knew he wasnt hurt, unless you think he backed off to carry canelo, then thats a different craziness.

By this logic Fury wasn't hurt in the 12th vs Wilder.

by logic, period. by your response, logic dictates, that youre incapable of seeing past your nose. the proof presented was punches landing on a fighter, that was proof of him being hurt, you just made a fighter getting dropped flat on his back equal to the exact same thing. what should logic tell me about you? had canelo been dropped at the start of the 10th, then yes, logic would dictate that ggg had him hurt and was on his way to getting him out there. can you see how logic works in those 2 completely different scenarios?

You clearly said that a fighter throwing back and putting his opponent on the back foot was proof he wasn't hurt. I presented a scenario where a fighter did that after undeniably being hurt. I wasn't equating anything. I was pointing out how dumb your argument was. But if you want to set here and pretend that I'm making some other point here go ahead. You'll live in your fantasy land as long as you can.

How have we resorted to wondering if clearly missed punches would have knocked someone out?

Not that close. He hurt Canelo for sure but hurt doesn't mean you're close to being stopped

A 36 year old Golovkin did that. Imagine a prime Golovkin.

here it comes ... looneys claiming Canelo was out on his feet, the other half acting like Canelo walked through that punch like it's nothing and started to tear GGG down. Lol. It was a great punch that wobbled Canelo, who was dazed and wasn't thinking clear since he made a mistake by standing there and ducking punches with his hands down. That could have cost him dearly if GGG hadn't been head hunting. It was one of his rare clear chances to go to the body without repercussions. If he landed another punch or two it would mean big trouble for Canelo, but he didn't, Canelo weathered the storm.
