I thought Williams won it pretty easily. Margarito has moments where he would land some, but the volume of punches Williams put out was tremendous.. Its not like he wasn't there for Margarito to hit him though..

Williams has a serious problem, he doesn't move and will engage from any range.. Margarito could have a lot of success against him by simply capitalizing on the opportunities he has when he gets close, and actually attempting to exchange more.

Williams has great tools, but he doesn't come into fights with smart gameplans.. Just out firing his opponents from any range isn't wise when you have such a rediculous reach advantage.

Margarito beat the Hell out of Williams, just take a look at Williams' face. Margarito will knock him out if he can get Williams back into the right with him, but Williams refused to fight Margarito again. Williams' also refused to fight Pavlik!

But, but, but, Margarito had zero chance to beat Cotto!!!

Williams got an immediate rematch after he lost to Quintana, some who Cotto destroyed, but he refused to give Margarito a rematch! Why? Double standard and Williams was not interested in fighting Pavlik at any price! Why?

i will say this **** again so the fruits getting pedicures hear me. williams won the match i gave him 7-5, no bull**** no need to argue.
however margarito won the fight he started off slow like always but this time just a round or so off.
if no one saw the bigger hurt put on williams, then your better off watching a gymnastics competiton.
let us not forget that immediately after the fight when margarito asked for the rematch ,williams said no thanks i am looking for bigger things.
    now back to square one.

I think Margo has a good shot at beating Williams in a rematch, just to clear things up.

close win for williams. i do believe that had the fight continued, margarito would have won. unfortunately for margarito, the fight is only until 12 rounds. to win the fight, he needs to be more aggressive even at the earlier rounds.

I would say close but at the same time clear win for PW, there were a couple of things Margo could've done better to win, there was also a couple of things PW could've done to make it more convincing like use his superior reach which he sort of didn't he utilised his superior boxing and hand speed but if he uses his foot speed more and utilises his reach I would say PW can win 9-3 against Margo, But same can be said for Margo, There must be a rematch!
