I said before the fight that I thought N'Dou would be more competitive and keep it close this time out. I didn't actually see the fight so I'm interested to see how you all scored it. Was it more of what N'Dou did or was it more of what Malignaggi didn't do? I know he hurt his hand so I'm guessing the latter.
ndou was a bit more competitive, but still not enough. paulie was clearly winning through 6 but stopped throwing much after that point. if he did break the hand it explains the second half of the fight.
Was really close IMO, could make a case that Ndou should of got the nod. I scored it 7-5 Pauli, Pauli broke his right hand in the 6th, and his joke of a hair lost him some rounds. Much different than the fight last year, Pauli was the aggressor with that weak-ass Jab and Ndou was countering with that right landing a big shot here and there.
I cant remember each round by round but i marked my scorecard from effective punchs which was more Lovemore than paulie who even had him shaken up a few times! i think i had it 7 - 5 Ndou but you can make a case for both fighters in this fight!
Last year Paulie had that terrific jab that won him the fight. Spectacular jab. this fight he fought tentative and that ****ing hair, not to mention he didnt really throw his right hand at all, not that it has any power but still. It was more a case of NDou not doing enough to win than Paulie really beating him.
if Nduo stayed just a little bit more active then he would have had the fight. he wasnt staying busy which cost him the fight. paulie wasnt doing anything either. i personally thought it was a boring fight
Paulie probably just nicked it and did well seen as he damaged his hand and the fact that he fought blindfolded. Buddy should have bought a set of clippers and just scalped him after the first round!
upon first viewing i had it 114-114 i don't plan on watching it again except for the parts with the hair
i had it 115-113 paulie but it was hard to score with ndou landing the harder punches but not being active enough to take the fight
Yeah, I agree with this the most. I expected Ndou to do better than the first contest, but I didn't expect it to be quite that close. Ultimately Malignaggi's busyness got him the nod rather than his quality, which really dipped.
it was really close i had it a draw even though NDou hurt Paulie more than the other way around. It showed that on neutral groud without the bull**** hometown refs, Malignaggi and NDou are pretty much on the same level.
Malignaggi pulled it out. he defo won @ least 8 of the 12 rounds. IMO (Very grueling rounds to watch) N'Dou prob get's some points because of what Paulie didn't do as oppossed to what he did in the fight. Maybe Paulie did bust his hand? any news on it?
