How come all professional oddsmakers list Floyd as a fav. against Pacquiao?

#10.. with a floyd avatar, obviously biased

#11... id say donaire is fav. over montiel for some of the same reasons... advantages and style, taller, longer reach etc

the top 10 ATG being an underdog against a "duck". LOL. When has the #1 p4p fighter ever been an underdog LOL. What a joke.

Obviously biased if you were looking for a specific answer. Where are you getting the odds from? I seem to recall the odds going in Pac's favor and they often change which means jack.

Because of two things in my opinion.

    1) although everyone loves to hate floyd, we still appreciate he is the best boxer alive in terms of skill, technique and having the complete package.

    2) pacman's meteoric rise has hit somewhat of a plateau lately and it a while since he fought a decent opponent.

That being said floyd is inactive and clearly past prime now so don't be surprised to see pacman catch him early and close the show.

yeah i agree. this is a good answer... its a bit like poker i think... youre making the right decision if you go all-in with the best hand AT THAT MOMENT, not after the cards were dealt

And stop with the pacman top ten atg business. Him and floyd are somewhere between 25 and 15 imo. If these two fight and the winner then beats martinez we can happily but that person as a top ten boxer.

^^ lol poor guy.. this is a prime example of an overzealous fan, going to great lengths of visiting sites, looking up 4 year old odds, youtube videos, .gifs, etc to try to prove an obvious point:

ok, oddsmakers have made mistakes and do make mistakes from time to time.... however, this is not the norm

    size and style...

  15. I usually bet a lot on different sports and If if someone asked me what should I do with this fight I would say No bet, pacquiao is to dangerous to make a safe bet or spot the value in it.
These odds are similiar when martinez fought williams 2 and pac has as good a chance. But floyd is a favourite because of his style and size. If everything went how it was supposed to go according to logic he would beat pacquiao bu ud. Luckily for us boxing doesnt work like that a lot of the times otherwise it would be very predicatble.
