How come anytime WLAD is about to defend his title an upset is on the horizon?

Ever since Wladimir KOed Ray Austin people seem to always call for an upset?

    Brewster upsets Wlad
    Ibragimov upsets Wlad
    Thompson upsets Wlad
    Rahman upsets Wlad

Did anyone actually pick Austin to take an upset, as well?

So that means everyone is a potential upset?

I never heard any talk that the fighters mentioned were going to beat Wlad - a few suggested Thompson might have a chance due to his akward style

It's getting kind've silly that people are even choosing Rahman for an upset. Shot to pieces and an already weak chin that's gotten even worse.

As a matter of fact.. if Wladimir doesn't finish inside four rounds at the least I won't even give WLAD credit for the win.

Awkard style? He's just a southpaw.. and that's the only reason people picked him to win. That was the main reason people picked Ibragimov to win as well. And even when Wlad was about to rematch Brewster this board was flooded with threads claiming that Brewster had his number.

That is a highly irrational type of credit system you have.

When ever you go down like he did in the sanders an brewster fight, you will always be questioned,,,,,,,but for me brewster would not of beaten wlad without sanders beating him first, i think wlad question himself too much after that loss, but now after the peters fight, those questions are gone, now you need to have boxing skill, power, an luck to beat wlad now........Wlad is no jones, zab mike grant he concoquered his chin,

Ibragimov had the tools to beat Wladimir but he squandered them with a terrible gameplan. His smaller size, agility and speed would have been best utilized had he come forward, stayed low and countered the jab and left hook effectively. He had absolutely no reason for being on the ropes or backing off all night.

I personally would not have considered that a huge upset. However Austin would have been. Same for a shot Brewster or even tonight a shot Rahman.
