I cant really understand why Bradley is rated higher than Hatton. Yes I know Hatton has been KOd twice with the 2nd time being early, but with the competition both have fought and the names on there records I still cant really make out why, when Hattons got names like Collazo (might not count being in a higher division), Urango, Tszyu, Malignaggi, Castillo and Maussa, over Witter, Holt and Peterson and Campbell on Bradleys record.
Im no fan at all of Hattons but dont think he should at this time be rated below Bradley (a good fighter all the same) at this stage. Bradley hasnt fought at the level of Maywheather and Pacquiao yet and it cant be because he hasnt fought just recently otherwise people like Hopkins who dosent tend to fight many people in his current division and who didnt fight for a year would also drop in the rankings.
So please someone with a sensible answer tell me why you think Bradley should be rated higher than Hatton at this stage.

Because the Tszyu fight was 5 years ago, Hatton didn't look that good in 3 of his last 4 fights, and Bradley's recent resume is a lot stronger than Hatton's.

Better recent performances by Bradley. Even though Hatton just got beat by 2 top P4P talents, he looked so overwhelmed in those fights that it's tough for me to rank him higher than the improving Bradley right now.

I still think Hatton-Bradley would be a good fight.

Bradley's recent work has to put him as no 1 at 140 IMO.

Ive never rated Hatton and wouldnt bet confidently either way on who I think would win, I could see a case for both, but Hatton has better names on his resume at LWW than Bradley. I dont think a good win over Witter, a win over an undefeated but untested Peterson, a close win over Holt who had been KOd, and a win over an old but good LW rates better than a win over now IBF champ Urango and a win over then relinquished IBF champ Malignaggi (only time he has been stopped), a win by 4th round KO over Castillo, and the old win over Tsyzu.
I just dont think when you get a guy like Hopkins whos only ever beat one world class LHW and fought alot of smaller guys yet can still be rated higher than say Dawson by some ratings you can say Bradley who has not fought in the same league overall as Hatton can be rated higher at LWW, Ratings should be based on results not who we think would win shouldnt they?

Prime for Prime Hatton is streets ahead, but right now until Hatton gets back in the ring he should not be rank above Bradley.

You really think Hattons better than Bradley? When Hatton was Bradleys age he was not near the level Bradleys at. Hattons claim to fame is beating Tsyzu and getting Kod by Pac and PBF. I think Bradley handles Hatton now, i his prime, in his own stadium with his own ref. Dont matter. And Bradleys only getting better.

its pretty much all been stated.... I am a big Hatton fan and think he gets crazy underrated....

    but
    - Bradley beating holt, dominating peterson, being undefeated
    - Hatton being destroyed in two rounds
    - Bradley looking very solid and good lately
    - Hatton looking on the decline in the urango, lascano fights, and being destroyed by pac
    - The fact that i would favor Bradly head to head at this point

    - And that i cant have Hatton at number one after being destroyed by Pac, i just cant. So in a way, Bradley being number 2 gets the spot by default.... which is a big part of it. That is boxing, number one falls.... the second guy gets that place. And thats happened here in a large part, its not so much that 'damn, bradley is head and shoulders above hatton, so i have him at 1' its 'hatton has to drop a spot, and bradley is there to take his spot'

All leads me to put bradley at 1, and Hatton at 2....

dont get me wrong, i have Hatton right behind Bradley.... And Hattons resume is leauges better at this point.... but you cant always go off that, its a combination of head to head, legacy, and what youve done lately.
