How come Cotto and team never refer to PAC loss?

Have not heard Cotto refer to loss vs Pac in any interview shortly prior to announcement to fight Floyd, up thru currently. All they talk about is Margo loss and how his confidence is restored after his first loss was avenged. Well what the hell about the confidence lost from fighting one of the best P4P guys out there? When and how is that restored when you got your ass whooped and were outclassed? And how do you shake those demons off when your now fighting the other P4P great out there? It just seems convenient to forget about that ass whooping and chalk it up to being weight drained (uh, he took the fight, he agreed to the weight, and hes not a big welter by any means. If anything, thought he fought best at 147, not 154--maybe Pavlik-like excuses about which weight he's really best at are coming in the future when he probably gets dominated by Floyd).

Cotto does not want Pacquiao involving him in a defamation lawsuit.

.....that, plus Cotto doe'snt have to say anything, the public already knows Pacquiao is a PED using cheat!

Cause that wasnt a fair fight chico. Pac didnt take the OSDT and the fight was at 145. Plus Cotto still hadnt gotten over the Margarito ass kicking he received and wasnt mentally prepared. Add in weight and marital problems and you have a recipe for amnesia :good

    Any questions?

Because he knows he lost fair and square and not to someone who may have used bricks in his wraps. Why do you think there's so much animosity towards Margarito? Don't let these clowns tell you otherwise, it's clear as day why.

You've got to accentuate the positive
    Eliminate the negative

    Actually no!

When first Pacquiao refused Mayweather's request for OSDT, Cotto was one of those who criticized Pacquiao for refusing such request.

Then when Pacquiao filed a lawsuit against Mayweather, Cotto has remained quiet on the matter, and rightfully so. There is'nt much he can really do except point out what he had done already and that was "Shame on Pacquiao for not wanting to prove he's a clean fighter."

they never talk about it cuz they know he got his ass whooped and its just that simple. from miguel's own mouth he said manny was the best fighter he's ever fought. Also from his mouth was that the camp was great, he felt great, everything was great.

if cotto has a problem with the weight issue he only has his dumb ass to blame for signing the contract to fight, only after an ass whoopin is when they cry...."best trainning camp, best fit"....after fight "no trainer, weight drained"...lol that's boxing

This is just a hate thread for the TS to slurp on Manny's nuts.

Cotto said as much in the talks for the rematch, "I will not sacrifice my body again like last time."

There's nothing to say about it. He lost to the catchweight king at a stupid weight he was forced into that's all.

However you feel about, Cotto needs to come to grips with idea that he couldnt deal with PAC's speed. Doesnt matter if Pac on or off PEDS. Floyds speed is equal in the very least. Margo hit the hell out of Cotto both fights and punches slower then a Walmart greeter. Just saying, he seems to be making excuses or not dealing with Pac loss, at least not openly. No excuse for not being able to deal with speed and needing defense. No reason Margo was able to connect as much as he did in both fights. Just like P Will fight vs Margo--P WIll has no D (as we have come to find out). Had no answer then, dont think will have an answer for Floyd.

No answer for Mos speed-very close fight.
    No D for Clottey--whose slow.

If the guy doesnt learn to neutralize speed and get some better D, has nothing but a punchers chance vs a technician. Dont know that an old dog learns new tricks. Cotto is what he is. Fight hopefully is entertaining. I see it looking very much like Hatton vs May and ending with same kind of result.

What are you twelve years old? Cotto has every right to say something if he truly felt he was cheated. He actually fought the man and was beaten down.

I seriously wonder who these clown here think they're talking to
