how come Cotto fights anybody?

who has cotto fought that was oh so dangerous?

 

That would be great... but how do you know?

 

He's good for the sport. He's brutal, causes damage and always tries to make a good fight. He also seems like a good guy in general.

 

Cotto takes tons of high risk, low reward fights. He went through a string of previously undefeated fighters for not a whole lot of cash. That's called fighting anyone. Like the OP said, he throws down with anyone they set in front of him. Who's he ever ducked?

 

I heard it was because he wanted to impress MSTR... aint that right roy?

 

Because he believes he can beat anyone he faces. It doesn't matter who it is, if his managers and promoter put them in the ring, Cotto will fight them.

I don't buy into that... a lot of fighters will fight whoever.. until they get a name and have the opportunity to choose. Wait a few years still before saying he fights anyone.

And being undefeated does not mean being a threat, it means you never lost, nothing more, nothing less.

 

Cotto is the man!

 

He is an old school fighter who is an animal in the ring...he's great for the sport.

 

I don't see how anyone in their right mind can complain about the level of competition that Cotto has faced. Look at his age, look at the amount of fights. If anything, I'd complain that they brought him along too quickly, but he's answered every challenge.
