Wilder has fought some bums but at this point he looks like a serious " soon to get a title shot type of fighter".

Right now it is a big risk for little reward against Wilder. If you beat him, so what?, he was a nobody... all hype. If he beats you, you got beat by a nobody.

Also, why put him in against a very tough fighter right now? All he has to do is kep beating bums and he'll get his shot. If he steps up and loses against a Tony Thompson or even a Tyson Fury, he'll probably never get a title shot.

He shouldn't disgrace himself anymore and fight somebody real

Opponents must go on the attack
and press his skinny legs-them some
    skinny legs

'Cause he'd rather spend his time fighting undersized, mentally ill internet trolls in L.A. Can you blame him? Some guys play pickup basketball, Wilder plays pickup boxing.

Haye made Wilder look drunk while sparring, hit him easily over and over again.

Vladimir Klitschko beat Wilder from one side of the ring to the other while sparring for the Wach fight, Vlad knocked Wilder down with a jab.............Wach would knock Wilder out, Wach has a good chin, is 6 feet 8 inches tall, 250lbs., lost every round to Vlad, Vitali found a tampered glove and after the fight Wach tested positive for roids.............., yet Vlad still easily won every round. Wilder refused to fight Thompson, Chisora, Fury, and anyone else ranked. Wilder did not fight for the #3 WBC ranking, he did not fight anyone ranked. Something smells................

we all know wilder has a shaky chin. he wont fight a live body. as soon as he steps up he will taste defeat, very likely by knockout. but something tells me a journeymen level fighter who packs a decent punch might cause a big upset before he arrives at world level

Because he's still rising and padding his record by staying active. His next fight will officially be the biggest of his career as he aims for the winner of Arreola/Stiverne II. Doubt anyone will complain if he manages to win that fight.

    It looks that way

I think he possibly is. Wlad is older now and at the end, Vitali has retired, so the 2 likely guys to stop his march to the top are at the end and more beatable/retired.

    --------------------------------------------------------------
Chances are if Wilder had of been based in Europe, he would have had a tough time as a HW, where win or lose he would probably have been in big fights that can take alot out of a fighter before they get to the top, but with Wilder and the route he has had, he will be fresh when he arrives.
I often find that many fighters have too many tough fights at European level and are worn out by the time they get to world level due to so many tough fights at the Euro level.
An example of this would be D Chisora/D Wilder. Chisora is fighting at European level and has fought D Williams, S ***ton (undefeated), T Fury (undefeated), R Helenius (undefeated), V Klitschko, D Haye and had even signed to fight Wlad Klitschko. That was all in under 20 fights and has since fought undefeated M Scott, E Gerber and K Johnson.
Now look at how Wilder is called top 10 and in 31 fights his biggest win is possibly a Chisora KO victim.

Look at the levels that Fury, Chisora, Helenius, Pulev have all fought in, in lesser time and then look at Wilders level.
Wilder should be fresh when he steps up more, due to not having had it as tough
