Bob Arum called out Floyd last year.

Top Rank appears to be having fun with the mid-July deadline that Bob Arum has given for Floyd Mayweather Jr. to decide whether he’ll accept the contract proposal that Arum sent over to Mayweather last week for a fight against Manny Pacquiao on November 13th. At the Top Rank website there’s a “Money” time clock counting down how much time Mayweather has before the July 15th deadline on Friday.

    And what's Floyd's response ? I have no urge, i'm on vacation.

Pacquiao is a man! A congressman! A boss! How the **** is Pac not going to have a majority say on his own ****ing career?

Bull****...I blame Pac 99% because there's a lot he can do to make the fight happen.

Uh maybe did it occur to you that there was really no proposal and this was propaganda from Bob Arum?

Its been hinted for a long time now that Arum been ducking Mayweather while putting Pac in with Clottey, Margarito, making Mosley sign with TR after he looked like **** to get the Pac fight, making Marquez sign with TR to get the Pac fight while believing the jump in weight would slow JMM down.

Difference now is that Arum has been undeniably exposed and the dudes who have been doing the spin jobs for the last 3 yrs seem to have taken a break as they are done selling there soul lol.

And no one is spining anything. Moreso is the case, you floyd fans making the biggest deal outta nothing major.

How stupid are all you gus going to feel when the fight is signed? After all the "Arum doesn't want it" **** you guys spew. Or will you man up and admit you were just talking ****? :huh

In order to get the Pac fight yes they did have to sign with TR, what other reason would Mosley who was a partner in GBP need to leave his own partner ship to sign with another company if he did not feel it was needed to get that Pac fight. But the point I was trying to make was this stuff was talked about yrs ago. Dude in OP is trying to make it out like people are just making up stuff this moment now that the mass perception is different.

If Arum makes the fight then I will personally make a thread stating that you Arum for making the fight.

At the same time what are the people who made threads stating that Mayweather will take another vacation then fight another tune up then take another vacation going to do?

You idiot, Floyd called Pac out weeks before the Marquez fight. There was no proposal yet as he wanted to make the biggest fight on May 5 possibly with the "little fella". Hence the reason for no proposal.

I truly believe if Arum was not a factor then this fight would of been made a long time ago. People blame Floyd, but lets not forget that Arum and Floyd were once together before Floyd became his own man. Arum is still fuming about that whole situation. If they had fought years ago and Floyd won the fight. Manny probably wouldn't be the star he is now. Believe it or not, the fact that these two still have not fought is one of the main reasons why Pac is so highly recognized in the sport today. He carries the aura of the man who could beat Mayweather, and the only reason that aura exist is because the fight have not happen yet. Arum is a smart man and understands this, and will prevent this fight for as long as he can to keep his star shining bright.

@John Anthony, all you have to do is analyze the actions of the Pacquiao camp. This mainly has to do with Pac's promoter. He knew full well that Floyd wasn't going to fight Pacquiao at Cowboy's Stadium last November. That countdown was just a big ass hoax. If the first round of negs found the 1 billion dollar stadium in Dallas was shot down as a potential venue, then I'd say those actions were a surefire way to say with certainty that Floyd Mayweather would not be the opponent for Pac. Shane Mosley was in attendence and he was almost guaranteed the fight with Pacquiao and 2 weeks later, the fight was a go. Nevermind the fact that Bob Arum said it was a shame that Shane grew old in the ring on May 1, 2010. Yet in December of the same year, he would be more competitive than JMM. Nevermind all of that. The way that Marquez placed on the backburner, and was guaranteed a shot at Pacquiao next. His contract was drawn up before the 1st bell rang on Pac-Mosley. This is the most time in limbo Manny's had in a while.
