Only if it is in new jersey, because of the polish population, Cunningham has no fan base. HBO could pick it up...however I don't think HBO would like to see an american fighter lose on their network...they are trying to build stars.

The divisions are fine if you ask me. Did Haye have a problem fighting 7 foot beltholder Nikolai Valuev? Did Chambers have a hard time fighting 6'6 contender Alexander Dimitrenko? Wlad and Vitali are dominating not just because they are big, but because they have great athleticism for their size and most of all- they are talented boxers with an extremely effective style.

Am I the only one who thinks Haye, at 6'4" 220 naturally would be best suited to put on some lower body mass, and fight like a big boy.

People trash him about his chin so much, that I think he is beginning to believe it himself. Meanwhile, the only guys who've ever hurt the man were serious punchers, most of which he was able to dominate or drop himself.:rofl

Oops, right, the ridiculous super middleweight division, and all those other super and junior or whatever they are phony divisions, some separated by a ridiculous 2 pounds!

No, I strongly disagree. essentially there is no place in boxing today for guys in peak shape weighing in a little over 200 pounds, unless they want to face a huge weight handicap and step in the ring with men weighing 25% to 50% more. Next time you're standing next to a muscular feller who's a head taller than you and outweighs you by 50 pounds think about how much you'd like to step into the ring with him.

No! What am I talking about? I was right in the first place. Light heavy is 168 to 175, only 7 pounds.

But if the fighters just stayed and fought eachother, then there could quickly be build some hype about the division..
As the TS already mentioned: Cunningham, Adamek and Haye all fought at cruiser, all 3 has a shot at the HOF and they could easily have made some great rivalies.
They could have taken on contenders like Tarver, Lebedev, Huck and green, which also would have been good fights..

Maybe, but what would you do? Would you stick out the cruiserweight division and hope for big money to someday appear or would you go to a division that guarantees you a lot of money right now?

No American money in it and little to no respect for the division.

Chambers was 208 pounds in his last fight and 209 against Wladimir.
    Haye was 210 pounds.
