How does he not have a jab. He does have a jab, and a good one. He just rarely throws it with authority because he's afraid of being countered himself over the top.

Haye is still a young dog in this sport. He has just never had a professional trainer. Booth got his this far by fighting tentative. Who knows how far he'd go if he were to fight to the best of his abilities.:think

    Here is Chambers at 209

Can he lose 10 lbs? Yeah, no problem at all. He wouldn't have to sweat to make it. He'd only lose minimal muscle mass and this would make him more mobile too.

The top cruiserweights (think Jones, USS, YPH) would still have a height/reach advantage over Chambers. However, Chambers could fight more aggressively (eg take more chances with his counters) because these guys wouldn't have as much power as a Klitschko, Dimitrenko, or a Peter. True, Chambers would need to improve his speed and reflexes, but losing the 10 lbs would help alot in that department.

Haye on the other hand was very fit at 210 1/2.

Could he make cruiser? With the right nutrition...sure he could. But he probably would lose a bit of his power. Still it would be worth it if he could be a dominant champion at cruiserweight and make exciting fights for the fans.

I wonder if Haye and Tarver would consider fighting each other if the fans wanted it. If the fight was promoted correctly it would be a huge event and a massive retirement pay-day for Tarver.
