The power is the last thing to go, and it is gone.

He doesn't do the things he used to do.

    Who says he ain't shot?

He should have gotten Marquez out of there, but Mosley is strong willed with a good beard. I never dreamed Floyd could have stopped Shane so I'm not going to hold it against him.

    Check out Floyd early.

    He scores more early knockouts.

He does not do those things anymore.

You seem to be suggesting Floyd has lost his ****ING power!

....I responded saying that he should have been able to knock Marquez out, but I'm not going to hold it against him that he couldn't stop Mosley, who has proved over and over again that he has a very strong chin.

...So what the hell is your malfunction? :huh

There were moments where I thought Floyd was going to KO Mosley...had McGirt been Mosley's trainer, PBF would have got the KO, because Buddy loves to stop fights.

PBF has a respectable KO percentage. He isn't a huge puncher, but he handles his business. But with how demonic he looked against Shane, a lesser fighter would have gotten KO'd that night...Marquez would have gotten KO'd had PBF been that aggressive.

Because Floyd at 130-135 was "natural" for the weight, that's where he had enough pop to KO people.

At 140-147, unless he can just dominate them without caution, he won't KO people. He doesn't have the power at those weights.

That's why people question Manny, very few fighters who were big punchers at say 130 - turn out to be big punchers at 147.

He's fighting better opposition and bigger guys (Marquez aside).

Part of the reason, the real reason is because he seems to have refused the drug testing stipulations put forward by Floyd Mayweather. I can see both sides arguments on that one.

Well, I read it as him being shot.

He has taken guys out in 1 before and I could see that if given the choice he would have done so against Mosley.

That is the hallmark of a shot fighter.

Also, he got hit clean. That does not happen often.

    More evidence...

His personal problems probably eroded some of his skill too. He argues with his dad, right?

Because Floyd is a safety first kinda fighter.

I think he could have stopped Shane - He's not that kinda guy.
