also it is a testement to the guys he faught Chins Marquez-World class chin, great recovery ability and countering ability, percise punches, if you get sloppy throwing puches trying to stop him you WILL get rocked

Delahoya-World class chin, recovery ability, AT 154 STILL PUNCHED LIKE A MULE, and at 154 I doubt Floyd could hit Oscar Hard enough to stop him he wobbled Oscar because of timing.

Mosley- World class chin,AT 147 STILL PUNCHES LIKE A MULE, and Floyd getting into a shoot out with him after doing the chicken leg dance in the second was not going to happen.

I do agree with what steward said that if he was meaner he would have stopped Shane because he was ROCKING Shane

what I am trying to say is these guys are not the type of guys that will fold up they are just as prideful as Floyd their egos may not be as big(besides oscars of course)

but none of them guys have been stopped except Oscar on a perfect body shot of a bigger person

I don't really think he looks for it. He's so good, that he can figure out an opponent enough to coast to a decision. He held back on Marquez and Mosley. I think he could have definitely gotten a KO against Marquez, maybe even Mosley, or at least smothered him enough to the point where the ref had to step in.

He even contemplated permanently retiring because of that hand problem.

Hand problems never really go away. When I was an intern, the ortho specialist with hand surgery as subspecialty emphasized that once you have those hand problems, they tend to stick around.

Pac stopped him too. Never put him down, and he was a shell of himself but he did stop him. Pac was the underdog too.

Dude, honestly, take your John Ruiz avatar and get the **** out of here.

Floyd knocked people out more when he started his career because he was facing LESSER OPPOSITION. Duh. The same thing happens to all fighters. You can't knock everybody out. As you move up the ladder of stiffer competition, it becomes harder and harder to knock somebody out. Sure Edwin Valero knocked out 27 people, but all of them were C class fighters. Mayweather could knock out all of Valero's opponents easily IF he wanted to.

Then there's the fact that Mayweather has moved up 5 weight divisions from his natural weight class. Let's see you or anyone move up 5 weight classes and knock somebody with the caliber chin of Mosley out. Yes, it can be done. But if you don't do it, that doesn't make you shot.

I think he can still get KO's. I just don't think its a priority. He's perfectly fine with whippin' ass for 12 rounds lol. Sometimes making an opponent look silly for the full 12 is better than a KO.

exactly its all about preference, some people are sadistic and like to torture, some people like to shoot people point blank in the head.

I ask people if your are getting your brains beat in and have no hope of winning would you rather be knocked out in say the 5th or 6th or have someone beating you up the whole 12 until the end teasing you and talking s%^t to you, sucker punching you in the face while your trying to touch gloves, knowing you cant do **** about it even if you are getting pissed that he did that

Floyd has brittle hands and those KO's you are talking about were at lower weights.... it's really quite simple to anyone that knows boxing. He simply hasn't carried the power he had at lower weights up and can't commit to full power due to bad hands.

But to say the guy is shot is the most laughable thing i've ever heard. I've seen some shockingly bad posts from you before but this takes the biscuit
