How come George Foreman isn’t commentating anymore?

George nailed Joshuas flaw, where is he now a days? I’d like him to be back, maybe not even a commentator, just a Roy Jones type of attendance like discussing the fight. I loved his HBO era. George knows his stuff!

I love George but he wasn't very good at all. It was a long time ago, but I remember some real bizarre stuff, like saying that they key to beating a soupthpaw was to hit him with the left hook, and screaming "he's dangerous!" over a complete feather fist.

I wouldn't mind seeing him back, maybe with Sean O'Grady!

George had some great one-liners and metaphors.

He is 70 years old now though, its not wise for him to travel with Covid still going around.

He would say pretty weird stuff a lot, but I still like to see him make a commentary comeback

He told the other commentators on air that they were wrong and didn't know what they were talking about because they had never boxed. You're supposed to "Yes And" in that role and not disagree with the other commentators ridiculous bloviations.

Agreed, Foreman was hit or miss in his commentary. I actually like Pacheco more over on Showtime.

I saw George in a commercial the other day for hearing aids or something like that.

He didn't look so good. Even with the bald head, his face looked pretty haggard. He looked his age. And he was sitting the whole time while everyone else was walking around. He used to stand and was very animated when hocking stuff on TV. Not sure if he's still "pulling cars with a harness strapped around his shoulders" anymore.

Think it's starting to catch up with him. Unfortunately.

He's still quick on Twitter, though.

    National treasure.

His commentary on that fight was complete shite. He refused to give hopkins any credit even though he was schooling Trinidad. Talking about how hopkins was going to get worn out by moving so much. Even merchant, of all people, had to call out foreman that night.
