How come i Bench 205 pounds but Squat just 160 pounds?

    Am i way under developed in my legs or is this common in a lot of young athletes?

    Uncommon. Need more info? How long have you been training? Routine?

    Poor form/technique I imagine. The numbers should be reversed. If you could bench 205 (I assume this is a 1RM), then you should squat 275-300 or so.

    I dont train religously, maybe 3 times a week, always ahd a decent bench press, but struggle with the squats..

    I look in proportion, just have average squats..

    best way to strenghten legs? less weight and more reps or the opposite?

    Depends on the issue. If your technique is correct (no offense but it likely isn't) then lower reps, high frequency (several times per week). If your technique isn't down, strip the weight off the bar and work on getting that down. The big lifts are skills :good

    I assume you don't have a dedicated legs day? Do you put as much effort into your legs as you do your chest? You know the answer to your own question. If you do 3 days lifting then do a split, something like

    day 1: Chest/Shoulders

    day 2: Back/triceps

    day 3: Legs/core (Don't **** around, ass to grass squats, leg press, weighted lunges)

    Don't neglect legs just because they don't look good in a t-shirt. Working your legs will release more testosterone and help you grow all over.

    Your bench is ****, your squat is a joke. Why? probably because you don't know what you are doing and you favor upper body over lower.

    In fairness how much should a guy of 154 be benchin?
