How come Kharitonov is not on the "Strikeforce - Overeem vs. Werdum" card ?

He fought on the Fedor v Big Foot card and is through to the next round

 

Man this tournament seems to be taking forever :S

 

They couldn't get Barnett sanctioned in California and so had to delay until they could go to a state with a less robust Commission.

 

Yeah this card got delayed if Im not mistaken

 

It was stupid though. They should have just told Barnett to **** off, go with the April date and put one of the younger heavyweights in his place. Then again the April lineup they put together was pretty awesome.

 

That makes no sense dude.

You want a semi-final to be completed before they've got the other half of the quarter-finals done?

Once they went with the decision to keep Barnett in the tournament, the delay was inevitable. Sergei keeping himself busy with his boxing commitments.

To tell you the truth I was thinking the same thing. Why is this taking so long if it's supposed to be a grand prix? The least they could have done was kept Valentijn Overeem vs. Chad Griggs off the card. It's like pouring salt into the wound by reminding us that they both fought on the same card Kharitonov did. The same goes for Big Foot.

 

I repeat: THEY COULD NOT GET BARNETT SANCTIONED IN CALIFORNIA FOR THE APRIL SHOW. THEREFORE THEY HAD TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER SHOW THAT WAS NOT BEING HELD IN A STRONG COMMISSION STATE.

 

i wish they would scrap this grand prix and throw the top dogs into the cain, jds,brock and carwin mix

 

This is taking forever, I wonder why they had to delay it.
