How come Laila Ali and Anne Wolfe never fought?

Bull****. Anne was basically a novice when she lost the first fight to the more experienced Mahfood the first time around. when they had the rematch Wolfe was far more experienced and had a much easier time than than the scores indicated. The fact is that Laila wanted absolutely nothing to do with Wolfe to the point where she and her husband wouldnt even talk about Wolfe on camera. Anyone who wants to defend Laila's blatant living off of her fathers name and aping his raised hands and "I am the greatests" needs to get their facts straight and their head examined...

Same reason she didn't fight Lucia Rijker. Scurred.

I'm guessing the speed bump reference from the Mosley Mayweather build up for Mosley's loss to Cotto wouldn't exactly work with that KTFO.

 

That sucks. It was the only HD (and possibly the only) copy of the full fight online and I'm pretty sure I didn't save it... I'll search my hard drive to, hopefully, post it myself on a host that's worth a damn.

The aftermath of that KO was sick. It took a good five minutes to get Vonda stabilized and out of the ring.

Ann Wolfe got knocked out by Valerie Malfhood and struggled with her two other times. Laila easily knocked out Malfhood.

whoah. this thread is a blast from the past. I commented in the last page and that was August of last year. I thought it was settled. Ali didn't want to fight a live body, especially one with granite hands like Wolfe. If daddy still had some where with all, he would not be too proud. :nono

 

Obvious; cause Anne woulda KTFO of Laila.

 

If every woman with Wolfe's background was the same kind of warrior-ette, people would hand out money to the homeless on the street like they were toll booths. I'd still rather hang out with a Wolfe than an Ali, though.
