How come Marquez couldn't even knock Pacquiao down in their first 3 fights?

As suspicious as pac. Jmm for the acne and pac for rejecting the biggest payday ever for being afraid of needles.

Because JMM was not loading up and looking for a KO. I'm a big Pacquiao fan but I admit that marquez will always be a problem for pac.

Ever wonder why marquez was not throwing his usual combinations against Pac in the 4th fight?? He wasn't throwing his combos because he was looking for a homerun and he got it. Marquez always had power. Him and Pac have the same KO ratios.

it's called sitting on your punches. in the first 3 bouts he was boxing more and therefore did not sit on his punches. in the 4th fight he stood his ground and bingo!!! knock out of the decade.

    ^^^^^this!

And Marquez specifically sttd before the fight that he needed a KO and had been training for the KO. He was not going to leave this in the judges' hands again!

Marquez has higher KO% than Pacquiao. The question is why didn't Pac get KOd sooner? 27% KO ratio Torrecampo KO Pac why couldn't JMM?

Pac has acne too, it was brought up some time back. *******s dimissed it back then as more finger pointing. Pac has acne + never tested outside of commisoin in the USA + rejected JMM's offer to do more testing + Freddie calling out Fortune and Ariza + Pac walking away from the biggest payday of his career. Who is and isn't on PEDs again?

You obviously missed it, but, that was the argument every ******* was making regarding asking Manny for additional testing. "Manny has never failed a test!"

Now the shoe is on the other foot... Hilarious. I'm sorry, but the irony in this situation just can't be any more hilarious than it already is. The absolute hypocrisy from the ******* Nation (not saying you) is very evident.

Marquez got some crazy power. Alvarado flew halfway across the ring like king hippo in mike tysons punchout.

When? Afaik the Bradley camp had to haggle over and eventually agree to some "closed-door testing" for that fight to happen.

Both Marquez and Pacquiao have been both criticized and praised.

Also, the "sudden dramatic" improvement noted of Pacquiao happened when he was like 30… the "sudden dramatic" improvement noted of Marquez happened when he was nearly 40.

Beating the crap out of Mike Alvarado means JMM has shown "sudden dramatic improvement?" GTFOH ... Alvarado was never on JMM's level, ever.

The guy looks like a 40 year old boxer. The problem is, the new crop of boxers aren't as good and lack solid fundamentals. That's why these "old dogs" can hang around like they do. Marquez is clearly slower than he was and people acting like he "looks like he's in his 20s" are on some serious medication.

He "looked so young" because he was fighting Mike F'ing Alvarado who was NEVER in his career a world beater. Alvarado is a "gate keeper." We're talking about a guy who went life and death with Brandon Rios for crying out loud. Do you think JMM (who is an ATG) would struggle with Rios?
