How come Mike Tyson is much more known than Lennox Lewis?

tyson was well known becoze of his abilitys in and out of the ring, a feared man a beast in the ring doing what he got paid for. he was the Jesus of boxing, one people are still waiting for not just hardcore fans.

lennox could never fill tysons place in history, and still lennox was the last great fighter. heavyweight boxing is dead nowadays, boring boxers with no charisma has hijacked it and killed it

Tyson was tyhe same weight against Holyfield as he was before he wentn to prison.Looked in amazing shape and was srtill young.

Holyfield beat him fair and square.

He just never fought anyone like Holyfield early in his career.

 

Be that as it may, to be known as a great boxer you have to have a prime of longer than 3 years. Lewis was at the top for a lot longer than Tyson so will always be remembered as a greater fighter no matter what would have happened if they had fought in 1990.

Lennox is very very well known worldwide, but Tyson was a one off.. he was just as entertaining out of the ring as he was when he was in it. Simply put - he was ****ing nuts.

 

Nothing to with what he did outside the ring. He was world famous before his private life was all in the papers because of what he did inside the ring. The guy was fighting non stop and the youngest to unify the heavyweight.

 

Everyone knows Tyson wasn't the same after prison. He was outta the game for 3-4 years. That's a huge gap.
