Probably because no other boxer is 42-0 and facing the possibility of tarnishing what's going to be an amazing legacy with a loss to a very capable opponent.

totally not case with what happened. floyd publicly humiliated pac first. try being slapped like that in the open see if it's easy to just give the other guy what he asks for next, which is in line with initial insult anyway.

if it were up to me, pac should just take the tests. but still, it's understandable if he refuses as a result of pride/ego.

 

Asking someone to take a test has nothing to do with being slapped, 99% of us on esb if were in Pac's position would take the test, Manny is just a ***** and we all know its not his call, if Manny were running his own show there's no doubt in my mind he would take the random test, but he has to listen to Freddy, Bob and konctz because Manny is a ****ing puppet...

 

i wish that were the case, but floyd came out with insults left and right which is the reason pac filed the case anyway. anyone would have felt embarrassed i'm sure and i wouldn't be surprised if he lost his head in private during that time.

i would take the test. and if it were up to me, pac should too. anyway, they have already said they'd take the tests. we'll see what's what, who's lying and who's straight up in the next negotiations.

 

If Floyd fans will only do some research, they will learn that blood tests do not catch the cheats. It is the urine test that had caught the cheats. So this blood test demand of Floyd is actually useless. The urine testing has a bigger chance of catching the cheat and Pac agreed to unlimited urine testing.

 

Thats very simple, Floyd could keep making a great amount of money without facing Manny. Other fighters have been fighting for years and still have not gotten what they deserve. So when a name like Manny is presented to them they will agree to anything and Manny has all the rights to demands as well which they will agree as well since its the only way any fight could happen with Manny at this point. Floyd really dislikes Arum and his team and vice versa seems to be more of the problem than anyone being scare, simple as that.

 

I hear you and agree with that. No, I think he believes he can beat Pacquiao. But he thinks Pacquiao is still a big risk, both financially and legacy wise. Did I say legacy? I meant to say marketability.

That is my theory. Floyd is a savvy businessman. Weigh the risk of gains versus loses. Even if he is favored to win, the risk is too big for his marketability.

The other camp is more than willing to oblige. Because, same with FLoyd they have other options too.

You could flip that easily. I don't believe Floyd is afraid of Manny because he came back to boxing. If im not mistaken, Floyd said he wanted to "take his thrown back". Well Manny is sitting on the thrown. There is no way Floyd thought he was going to come back to boxing and not fight Manny. As soon as he came back he knew that everyone wanted to see that fight. If you want to blame anyone then blame Floyd Sr. He is the one that told Floyd to have Manny be tested.

 

Because they don't care that he is a PED using fraud because they want that big payday. Mayweather can get a payday without bending over to the PED cheater's demands.

Mayweather dislike Bob Arum alot!! And it would be difficult to make that fight anyway,if Pacquiao said i take your tests.
Roger Mayweather was quoted to say:Floyd wants 100 mill. for that fight.
There is much more going on besides the testing thing.
I remember some guy (can´t remember his name,sorry) saying:we almost had the fight made,it was SO close...But Mayweather walked away from the negotiations,and took a long vacation.IMO even if Pacquiao would agree to testing,team Mayweather would come up with either:no 50/50 pursesplit,or demand something that would make Arum consider it impossible to make...IF some posters here would spend some time and read about the negotiations,they would now it´s not about the testing only... THE FIGHT WILL NOT HAPPEN!!!:-(
