    kind of a no brainer...

pac took odlh out behind the woodshed and clubbed him like a baby seal until he quit on his stool. i repeat...the little guy FORCED the golden boy to quit on his stool and sent him into retirement....

joe on the other hand won a very unimpressive decision over bhop, was dropped in the first round and really didnt land anything of note (there is that vid on here somewhere of him slapping at air and then getting popped right before the bell) combine this with his prefight talk of knocking out "popkins" (in my best british accent) and you will see why pac's win is more highly regarded

He didn't 'beat' Hopkins, didn't 'defeat' him. Not sure he even 'won' the fight, he just 'got the decision'.

    Semantics, I know.

lol did you even see the fight? Joe C got dropped by b-hop and barely escape with a W against a 43 yrs old fighter. Many even thought b-hop should have won. PAc on the other hand was the underdog and many pick oscar to knock him out. Pac didn't just beat oscar, he gave him a beating of a lifetime. Complete domination by the pacman.

everyone knows that people like Asians more than White people, thats the real reason. White people are unfairly discriminated against, while Asians are given everything on a silver platter.

The Hopkins that Calzaghe fought was 100X better than the DLH Pac fought, anyone who denies that is a complete moron.

Refused to fight him?, no one refused to fight him. Joe wanted those guys to go to Wales when he was a complete unknown. Even Joe admitted that a fight with Jones wasn't going to be worth it back then because it was far too much risk for little money and he had to fly over to the States to make it happen. Ever wondered why Joe finally decided to move to the States to fight Hopkins and Jones when they were old?

About the "biology" lesson, biology aside, his skin color is white, correct?. There are black Asians you know and white isn't necessarily a trademark for Euros. Might want to be more specific and say "Euro" rather than white.

Its not about Joe being white...it's about PAC being a HUGE underdog and being smaller. Also the fact of the pur DOMINANCE. Joe didn't dominate like PAC did.

Was Joe a HUGE underdog against BHop?
Did Joe jump up 2 weight divisions to beat Hopkins...?
Did Joe anihilate the older man as Pac did?

Pac gets credit for his performance and for proving people wrong.

That's the problem. Pac didn't prove anyone worng. :nono

ODLH proved everyone wrong. It was Oscar who was shot, it was Oscar who came in weight drained to hell, it was Oscar who had no reflexes or mobility. IT WAS NOT WHAT PAC DID, and that is why Pac's win over DLH is highly OVERRATED by *******S.

"This was a fight that should have been won. Oscar was able achieved a great physical condition during his training.

. But at the time of the fight he couldn't do things well.

"The Filipino is tremendous. I insisted that he walk to Pacquiao's left side, but he insisted on walking to the other side, toward the right, and only managed to put himself in the line of fire," Nacho said. "

because of the way he beat dlh despite the fact dlh was old. and he was a heavy underdog. calzaghe deserves credit as well for beating hopkins but hopkins was past his prime as well. thats why taylor beat him twice. his performance against pavlik was based on not just how good hopkins is but how flawed pavlik is.
