JMM won that superbly against Diaz. But who is Juan Diaz really? He lost to an old fogey Nate Campbell and looked bad against Katsidis. How come you guys are praising Marquez to high heavens in his victory against ancient Casa and feather fisted Juan Diaz while Pac was discredited for his lopsided wins against David Diaz and dela Hoya? Are there different standards here for Pac and Marquez?
not to discredit pacs wins but....... diaz was winning the fight til he got cut. and nate is no old fogey. that funeka kid should have beat him, but nate held him off, knocked him down twice. diaz+katsidis=toe to toe battle, obviously. diaz didn't look bad at all, he landed more, and believe it or not, defended better than kats. the fight really wasnt as close as the cards might indicate.
People didnt feel the need to make it such a big deal (diaz vs campbell). Even when Diaz won against Katsidis. it wasnt highlighted that much.
It didn't take you a day to discredit JMM's win when you said the whole time Diaz was a younger, better pressure fighter who was gonna stop Marquez. I got news for you though JMM is on top and here to stay. Why don't you crawl back to Pacland.
Katsidis is no technician but he is a high-energy fighter who makes you fight. I can think of alot of easier opponents to come back against. Diaz beat him pretty soundly, winning 8 or 9 rounds IMO. That's a pretty solid victory to have coming off your first pro loss. Certainly nothing to sneeze at. It's hard for me to discredit Diaz against Campbell because Nate was just a man possessed that night. Juan didn't necessarily fight a bad fight. He just got outworked by a rugged veteran and the cuts didn't help matters. JMM's win over Diaz is legit. A tremendous victory for the Mexican great. The precision of his punches, the uppercuts...picture-perfect.
destroyed? you must have watched a diferent fight.it was a close fight and i dont want to take credit fromNate who did his thing but Diaz didnt looked himself that night. but yeasterday he was destroyed in a great fight by a great fighter. Diaz is still young and he will comeback from this loss.
because they want to give JMM the credit he deserves for winning the title. The title he won which means anything is the WBO.
