Compare the total careers of Judah/Baldomir next to Margarito/Williams its really no argument that Tony/Paul aren't better bigger maybe but not better.

As far as actual fighters who could move Mayweather's legacy up Pacquiao, Tyszu, Casamayor, & Freitas are the names that jump out to me. Outside of that he has fought the best.

"Stop with Martinez" Damn bro, can't even mention Maravillas name cuz the ***** in you comes out. Sergio had offered to fight Floyd several times at a CATCHWEIGHT. Who had Marg beat? Cotto, Cintron, Clottey? Don't tell me Baldomir, Judah, Gatti, were better than those? Great *****, I mean, fan you are!:D Don't go full ***** bro, you better than this.

you mean *******s? only *******s claim this. They are not normal people. You can hate Floyd all you want but you can't deny he holds a very nice resume.

I believe what most people would say Mayweather and Mosley should have fought years back as well as Cotto when about 3 or 4 fights before he came to welters or after cotto's fight with Mosley pre-margarito. But he should be respected for what he's accomplished in boxing cuz not anybody steps up in the square circle and competes wether you're 50-0 or vise versa boxers should be respected

These threads are perfect examples of revisionism at its finest.

People just get listed without any consideration at all. Guys who never even fought at his weight at the same time. Guys who, when the fight supposedly could've taken place, he actually fought a bigger name. Guys who actively avoided him, let alone him not making the fight. All of that on top of ignoring Showtime/HBO stuff.

Paul Williams, as an example. The only time that fight would have been viable was late 2008 - when Williams was coming off a loss to Quintana. Mayweather fought ODLH and Hatton in 2007 - with Hatton fight taking place in December. Paul Williams beat Margarito in 2007 and fought Quintana in February 2008 - losing by UD.

Margarito - same thing, only time that would've been viable was mid-to-late 2008. Margarito was coming off a loss to Williams though. Why would you fight him at that point?

Tszyu - called out numerous times by Mayweather, but fought on Showtime so the fight wasn't possible. Hard to pinpoint when the best time for the fight would've been too.

Casamayor ducked Mayweather. Freitas refused the fight too.

You trippin bucky, already having a heart attack. With Judah, everyone knew Judah was faster, but no one ever said Floyd wouldn't hang with him. :rofl :patsch Look who Judah got beat against fool! And yes Floyd will be remembered for ducking Marg, the Punisher, Maravilla, and a midget. Aside from that, catchweights for dehydrating bigger opponents and bloating undersized ones. He only fights the ones that he knows he won't have trouble stylistically, 10+ yrs later after Castillo he wants to avenge lil bro Broner, but struggles with Maidana after barely winning the first fight. Either Maidana is that good under Garcia or Floyd isn't as great as he thinks he is. And then wanting Maidana to wear the gloves he wanted? Dafuq? Surprised Floyd didn't want glitter on his jockstrap too.
