    The Quote-

"You Need To Learn The Slickness Of A Black Fighter"
    or was it
"You Need To Move Like A Black Fighter"

    The Intent-
Kelly Pavlik Needs To Learn To Put A Bounce In His Step. He Moves To Stiff Legged Which Completely Gives Away His Rhythm.

    My Opinion:

Some People Look Way To Deep Into things... In Bhop's mind and alot of others as well Black Fighters Fight A particular way. I mean nobody Shouted Out Racist When Rocky 3 Hit the theaters, Thats basically the message b-hop was trying to convey to kp. That is also only the type of thing you would tell someone if that person had earned your respect. Kelly Pavlik Completly Earned Bhop's respect and what B-hop told kp at the end let us know that and let kelly pavlik and jack lowe know that. B-Hop Acknowledged the fact that Kp Has tremendous strength and he felt it and he did everything in his power to stay away from it. Hopefully Kelly Pavlik Learns from this loss and can learn from his mistakes in last nights fight and become a better fighter. The truth about what happened last night? Bernard Hopkins did a VERY RESPECTFUL THING and gave Kelly Pavlik Some Pointers on how to better himself, and listen to his trainer more often AND KELLY PAVLIK did a VERY RESPECTFUL thing and listened to BHop Respectfully. So lets not take things out of context here. If B-Hop FEEls Black Fighters Fight a Certain way so be it. Its not a racist comment what so ever. If Bhop told pavlik

"you need to fight more like a mexican fighter"

would you have as big a problem with it? Probably not! You would have understood exactly what b-hop meant and kept it moving. So whats the issue with this comment?
The sad thing is, When He Said it im almost positive all of you got the jist of what he meant. B-hop wasnt implying that white fighters "CANT" fight a particular way, he was implying that kelly pavlik needs to add a attribute to his repitoir that alot of TOP black fighters traditionally possess.

I'm white and I don't have a problem with this statement.

Pernell Whitaker, Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones Jr, Bernard Hopkins, Winky Wright, James Toney. (many different defensive styles in this group, but all have good movement in their own way)

Black fighters do have a distinctive defensive movement, more fluid than say Oscar De La Hoya or Joe Calzaghe or Kelly Pavlik.

Of course it is a massive generalization, you could come up with examples of white fighters who were very fluid (Willie Pep) or black fighters who don't move as well (Sam Peter!!), but I see what Bernard meant with this statement. I don't perceive it as racist at all. (though what he said to Calzaghe before their fight, now that was a racist comment!)

thats basically what im saying... i mean theres exceptions for every situation. but over all comments like that hold some truth. And What bhop said to kp last night held some truth and nobody can dispute that. Kelly Pavlik Moves EXTREMELY stiff legged, and it didnt even occur to me till bhop mentioned it

you know what the problem with stereotypes are?

In alot of cases Stereotypes are truths that nobody wants to hear nor say

haha he didnt have to because that rhythm is an attribute maybe bhop feels calzaghe has

    but regardless

i cant see bhop saying anything to his opponent in a loss
    and also
maybe bhop has more respect for kp than he does for calzaghe
