How Come Southpaws are less Common than Convetion style?

    In my gym, theirs only 3 southpaws out of 20 people.. the ratio seems to be 10:1.. Anyone ever thought of that question?

    Hagler was right-handed and fought mostly as a south-paw. This is why his jab was so strong - like a straight right.

    DLH is the opposite, he is left-handed and fights conventional - hence his great hook and sharp jab.

    It makes the power-hand less powerful this way, but the dominate hand is up-front, where it can be used with great effect to compensate for this.
