I think because there is no long term potential, hbo thinks klits are boring and dont want them on and haye is retiring soon, you should be happy its free though.

It doesn't garner that much interest in the States from the casual crowd. It should be expected not to be PPV in the US...

The time I suppose. With the home of heavyweight boxing now firmly established in Germany this means the yanks have to watch all of the most important fights on saturday at around 5 o'clock. Besides it will be on PPV.

It's a reflection on the state of the division. There are no American stars involved in the fight, hence it's a PPV in Europe. The opposite happens sometimes; a PPV card with American stars is shown for free in other markets.

The Klitschko's hate PPV and I for one am grateful for that.

You should be happy, why whine about it? Us Brits have to buy it, not sure about the other 100 odd countries it's getting screened in. If you mean why in the States, Chavez is Mexican and the States have a shitload of them who are willing to pay. Like I said before, the Yanks get ripped off over there so I'm glad it's free for them.

I think it's because the point of the fight is to try and bring fans back to heavyweight boxing. There's currently no intrest in the big men at-all, so putting it on PPV would be a huge risk, especially seeing as neither fighter is American.

It's on free to air, so I'd assume that the idea is to draw in as big a crowd as possible, hope that the fight has some fireworks, and people start to think 'that was a great fight, wonder when the next heavyweight bout is?' HBO can then build from there.

It's because they're fighting in Germany and the time difference probably
