This weekend has 2 good fights on HBO: Khan vs McCloskey and Berto vs Ortiz. I don't see a lot of people going crazy for this fight. Why is that? :huh

Well I think it is because outside of us hardcore fans not a lot of people know any of the fighters. I am looking forward to it as the Berto/Ortiz fight will tell us a lot about both and it is cool us here in the States get to catch the Khan fight on tape delay.

It is a solid night of Boxing if you ask me. :good

Fights like this should be more open to the public, even big fights like williams martinez 2 and bradley vs alexander got little attention.

I'm not excited about either of those guys because neither of them are elite IMO.

Not many people are that excited about Berto fighting Jr. Welterweights. He's been a champ for a couple of years - but has yet to really go out and test himself with the elite Welterweights. How much credit does he really get for beating Ortiz? A Jr. Welterweight that lost to Maidana and drew with Peterson - but is getting a shot at the WBC Welterweight Title.

Not many legit WW's right now though.

PAC wants nothing to do with berto.
    Mosely is done.
    Money lost his urge.

    Senchecnko, Kell Brook, Mike Jones?

    Ortiz Takes this.

Did nobody else see Ortiz running from Nate Campbell? :blood

    Nate Campbell, guys.

    Nate Campbell.

This is Andre Berto. I don't like Andre Berto much as a fighter, and in any other era don't think he'd even be a top welterweight...but he is MUCH bigger and MUCH scarier than a shot, blown-up Nate Campbell.

Does anyone REALLY think Ortiz is going to stand and trade with Berto???? :huh

I have to admit I had not seen any Ortiz fight. But after watching some of his "greatest hits" on youtube, I can say I´m pumped for this fight.

    Khan-McCloskey? Meh.
