absolutely. We all know Rocnation won't outspend Matchroom for Ward when Froch is the bigger draw.

Ward beat Froch in the United States but not in Wards' home city. So it isn't exactly comparable.

What "Scar" said on Page 1, basically...

Frochs his golden goose Degale doesn't bring in that kind of money of course he will go out to win the purse bid. If Ward wins the fight could be in America and for pennies. Sky Sports is backing them on the purse bid. Of course I'm not absolutely sure as I have been saying if Froch wins the purse bid and chooses Nottingham it's fair he won the purse bid. Just like if Ward won the purse bid and chose Oakland it's fair he won the purse bid. That's how boxing works people on here are acting like there isn't a system in place for these kind of things.

You mean Just like he won Dirrell vs Degale? Rock nation will slap Eddie Hearn around with their wallet.

Lol. I am sure Froch and Groves, fighting in front of 80,000 disagrees.

And if the place to be is the USA, how come two of Kovalev's last four fight were in Canada, and his next one might be.

The place to fight is where the money is. And it is not, always, but often it is, in the USA. That said, the more money to be made between Ward and Froch is in the UK. Saying otherwise is being plain stupid.

Agreed. And given the only place they could sell this wretched rematch in the UK is Nottingham it's a no brainer

Why wont Froch drive 30+ miles to fight Ward.

What Froch is suggesting would be like Ward saying "Theres no way Ill fight him in Sacramento, Ill only fight him in Oakland"

Then you must be sitting in a toilet permanently because it's not the same all over the planet. Ever heard of statistics?, the chances of a robbery in an extremely active place are far higher than they are in a rarely active place. You know there's a problem when England competes with America when it comes to robberies yet they don't host half as many events/fights as America does.

You're asking disturbingly idiotic questions. Why were Kovalev' last four fights in Canada?, are you even serious?. He clearly has/had Stevenson and Pascal in mind so obviously he has to fight there to further impress and make a statement.

Indeed, the place to fight is where the money/serious attraction is and history has proven and continues to prove that America is the place to be. Don't believe me?, check out Hatton, Pacquiao, Lewis, Eubank, Benn, Froch, Hamed, Honeyghan...etc.

The British made this sport, but the real events take place in America. Accept it or lay off the cheap beer to have at least some kind of control over your brain and see for yourself.

DeGale isn't anywhere near the draw Froch is, so Hearn will have much deeper pockets for the Ward/Froch purse bids. Only way Roc Nation wins the purse bids is if they are willing to lose millions on getting the fight on US soil in the hopes Ward's later fights will recoup some of their losses.

Fact is based upon the financials of this fight, the fight will come to the UK and Nottingham. The big issues are, will Froch be willing to accept only 25% which would be likely less than he'd make in any other fight. Also if Froch is happy with the 25% will Ward want to come to Nottingham?

I'm not sure if this fight actually happens. Before it was mandated neither were really pushing for it. Froch has made it clear he wants Chavez, he'd even take Golovkin over Ward and Ward has made it clear he only wants to fight on his terms which just isn't going to happen. Either fighter could vacate to avoid a fight they don't really want.

because, as you're well aware, he's only interested in vegas, the city ground or retirement.

he wouldn't walk 30 yards to fight at trent bridge.
