How come when a televised fight ends in an early KO....?

    say it ends with a quick 1st or 2nd round knockout. In the post fight interview, they are still on a time schedule and rush the interviews and try to wrap things up even though they have plenty of extra time? whats the deal?

    My guess would be so they can include the most of a previously recorded fight and interview.

    Probably not much time to calculate this sort of thing while on live.

    Just in the US - in Germany the reporting staff is going to collect as many expert and celebrity statements as they can get and also analyze the fight to death. Then they show a pre-recorded fight (or 2).

    It always sucks that when HBO just air the main event in first place, they won't change plans to show something pre-recorded or wrap up the fight card - way to go...
