How come Wilder and Fury fought each other but Joshua has fought neither

Facts.

 

Fury is an active boxer with some defining bouts still ahead of him, ergo his legacy being irreparably damaged by his hiatus and Joshua's subsequent belt-warming emergence is a spurious claim that couldn't possibly be substantiated until this generation's gloves are hung up, especially given that the dramatic and triumphant nature of Fury's return from the wilderness can be argued as legacy-enhancing in itself.

And the conceit that he is "going to be remembered as a Riddick Bowe level guy" is a highly dubious forecast.
