How Come Wills Never Fought Gibbons,Renault,Brennan,Miske Or Godfrey

    Its well established that Harry Wills never got the title shot he deserved,I'm just wondering why he never fought the following?
    Tommy Gibbons
    Jack Renault
    Bill Brennan
    Billy Miske
    George Godfrey

    You can add
    Jim Maloney
    Bud Gorman
    Johnny Risko
    Quentin Rojas
    All ranked during Wills time as a ranked heavyweight
    Anybody know the answers?

    Jack Kearns had Godfrey on contract for sparring and used him to challenge Wills as a bulwark for Dempsey, but Hary wasn't for risking his number one position for littl gain.
