1/ Lesnar didn't come from 'outside the sport' of MMA, per se; he was a huge national Champion collegiate wrestler, the archetype of the dominant mma fighter. I don't see why this is so how hard to understand, even for people who don't follow the sport. 2/ Also, it HAS happened in boxing; Ricardo Mayorga won a world title after a couple of years boxing experience. Hasim Rahman (woeful tonight, on my mind) didnt box until he was in his 20's. There are many more. 3/ Why I am responding to a troll thread?
Boxing and MMA are completely different sports. Boxing requires more training and experience because the fighter is limited in so many ways. In MMA, you're not limited to just standing in front of each other and punching. Therefore, you can excel if you're good at something. Brock Lesnar is huge, athletic, and an amazing wrestler (with experience). That allows him to do quite well. MMA is much closer to an actual fight, meaning far more variables come into play. Oh, and you're a jackass.
Me? :huh I thought you might have actually wanted some information. Anyway, Prescotts trolling effortlessly pisses all over this rather dismal effort :bart
its because they are totaly different. in all honesty boxing wouldnt degrade them selves by putting some one in a title fight with 3 fights. the next thing is mma in a cage wrestlers dont need much skill to be able to win. the ufc favors wretlers and the cage assits them. lastly randy is old and with age the chin goes. also in a street fight lesnar ****s up every single boxer so it dosnt matter. boxing and mma are completly different to compare them is just ******ed.
No I don't need information. I have been watching the UFC when most people on this board were in the third grade watching Barney. I just think, Brock as champ sets the sport back a little. Mir will beat him again. Whats wrong with riling people up?
You really think Mir will get a rematch let alone beat him ? Hes got a hell of a fight in front of him in Nogueria. Brock had about a minute of experience when he fought Mir and was destroying him possibly might have stopped him if the ref didnt break up the action when he accidentally caught him behind the head barley.
Ya, mir still will get a rematch even if he loses to nogueria. Well, eventually. Brock is a monster. And a hell of an athlete. I wanna see him try the nfl too!
