How comes Parker gets Foreman 2.0 as a replacement where as Stevenson gets such a soft touch ?

Ok maybe Foreman 2.0 is bit of an exaggeration but surely there must of been better opponents for Steveson ? Not that I'm complaining that Bakole is the opponent I love the fight but you get my point.

My guess is people care more about the co main event than the Stevenson fight.

Bakole doesn't need to make weight so it's an easier replacement but yeah the guy Shakur got as a replacement is very underwhelming to say the least. I might be wrong but I think Andy Cruz would have been ready and would accept to fight Shakur he's also promoted by Hearn. That would be wonderful.

They obviously had more time to find a replacement for Schofield too

I'm sure they could've got a better replacement for Shakur but that being said the flights from the UK and Congo aren't too long and certainly nowhere near as long as one from North America would be so that likely eliminated any North America fighters stepping in, especially given the replacement would've had to have made the the check weight yesterday

Because Frank Warren wanted to protect his asset. He purposely withdrew Dubois, and pushed Bakole in front of Parker in the last minute. He designed everything months ago .

And how the hell is Bakole fight ready in last minute?

I haven't followed the career of Shakur Stevenson since he won Silver.

Padley beat Turki’s favourite fighter last time out and was on weight when the call came through

Bakole is a heavyweight and doesn’t have to make weight…

Well Stevenson wasn't fighting that good of an opponent to begin with. Schofield or Padley, no real difference there.

But Parker was fighting Dubois, which was a very significant fight. You could argue Dubois or Bakole, no real difference there.

Paid to be in shape and on standby perhaps? With two heavyweight fights on the ca.rd and a guy everyone wants to see fight just sitting there, would seem to have been logical?

****, I kind of wish Kabayel had got sick instead of Dubois, we'd have got King Kong vs Godzilla.

Bakole was willing to risk a short notice fight. The 135 landscape is not

Hard enough to get some of the 135 lbers to fight each other with multiple years notice

I mean call me ignorant but I don't see anyone lining up to fight Stevenson and he has called out names
