How Cotto will beat Clottey!

He's beaten very good fighters and dominated Zab far better than Cotto did...Plus the way he handeled Marg in a far better manner than Cotto did.

 

Thats the same reason why Cotto beats Clottey. Clottey covers up way to much and plays the counter puncher (Think Winky-Tito) it worked great for Winky cause Tito was one dimentionsal in that fight. Cotto is not a stand in your face type of fighter thru out a whole fight. He moves pretty well and throws good combos as opposed to Tito'd one left hook. Clottey doesnt pressure and doesnt throw enough at all. Thats his downfall. Being a big fighter wont be enough to beat Cotto if all you gonna do is cover and wait to counter.

 

Clottey was walking Judah down in the later rounds of that fight.

Put my name on any list you want. I think Clottey is a damn good fighter. If Cotto wins, I'll give him his props. However, The Joke is the one who said that Clottey isn't a very good fighter. So if Clottey wins, I expect The Joke to come on here and talk about how overrated Cotto is for losing to guy like Clottey.

Zab was shot. Zab took a terrible beating at the hands of Cotto before he lost to Clottey. Clottey aint that good. Jeez, the guy lost to baldi.atsch

He's the man, but he can be beat. Stop jocking him like he's this and that. Keep things in persepctive. Just b/c Zab took a beating and he also dish a lil himself at Cotto doesn't mean he's "SHOT" right then and there....otherwise Cotto is shot b/c of what Marg did to him. You actin as if this fight is a walk in the park for Cotto...This fight will be close regardless..I'll favor Clottey cuz of his size advantage and all that...The scorecards will be close if it goes that far..Clottey is bigger and more solid than Cotto...I know Cotto is a better "boxer," but his advantages aren't that much over Clottey..Clottey will come in fight not at a solid 166-170...Clottey UD in a very close fight...:hat

 

Zab took two low blows from Cotto. And he was KO'd late in the fight. That was not a particularly punishing, career-altering victory. That kind of loss doesn't wear on a guy.

He lost by DQ to Baldomir-a fight in which he was winning on all 3 scorecards..I know he lost but thats not a very valid argument when trying to prove he'd lose to Cotto!:-(

lol...I was not here before that. Sorry to break your heart man. But I admit, I thought Cotto would win a SD over Margo.

 

The same can be said for Cotto if you're going to go that route. Not trying to sound like an ass but you could have at least gave a better opinion than that one.
