In the end Floyd will get credited as the better boxer and will be far more remembered longer than a drug cheat. Just look at ESb. What happen to all the pacturds with the same avatars that use to be here? Manny was a good fad in boxing but he's already yesterday's news. His resume is nothing but names. Any real boxing fan knows the only "prime" fighter Manny has fought was Bradley and he got an "L". End thread. Media hype jobs who get exposed don't get credited for beating dead men.

Both guys have a good resume. Both of them have done things that the other hasn't, both have done things that no one else hasn't for that matter. With that being said, if I had to choose which one is greater, I would go with Floyd. Not because of his fighting style or skill level. I would choose him because he's been consitent since his professional career has started. He's taking on some good champions and opponents and beat them all, while jumping from weight class to weight class.

Things I learned in this thread:

1)Barrera got a "Gift" in a fight with Morales where he lost by split decision.
2)Barrera and Morales were overyhyped bums and nowhere near the calibre of a prime Corrales and Castilo.

I wish to learn more from this extremely eductional thread. Please share more of this incredible insight with the rest of us.

Let's draw a line here people.

H2H, which is not the discussion here, yes, sure Floyd.

And to answer the question who is the biggest threat style-wise or potentially to Floyd, which is not the discussion here, Pacquiao.

Alright, resume-wise, Pacquiao has an egde to Floyd. Simply put, they share roughly the same names , Maquez, Cotto, Oscar, Hatton. Floyd beat some first, Pac beat some more impressively. Basically makes them even.

However, the simple fact that Pacquiao has Barrera and Morales on his resume really gives him an edge. Not a big one mind you, but better than slight.

    It's as simple as this.

"Dat mufukaz on tha A-SIDE meth. DATS wat tha fux he own. Remember when the US was fighin the filipino soldiers 500 years ago? Dey waz shootin dem mufukaz wif 45z. And them 45s was BOUNCIN off they mufukin azz. They weren't even dying!"

How come there are some people get blinded easily by their idol? From 2008-2012 alone you can easily see which fighter has a better resume, has more fights, went against all odds and beat their opponents handily.

    Floyd fights from 2008-2012
2012 - he fought past prime Cotto 5 years later
2011 - he sucker punched that bum Ortiz
2010 - he fought a past prime 38 year old Mosley
2009 - he weight cheated a lightweight Marquez
2008 - Faked his retirement to duck younger prime Cotto, Margarito and Mosley

    Pacquiao fights from 2008-2012
    Bradley
    Marquez
    Mosley
    Margarito
    Clottey
    Cotto
    Hatton
    Oscar
    Diaz
    Marquez

Floyd 4 fights in 5 years > Pac 10 fights in the same years? LMAO!

From 2008-1998 who did Floyd beat and what he accomplished? because Pac what we know beat the lineal flyweight champ Sasakul at 112, the no.1 super bantamweight champ Ledwaba, the great Barerra, Morales and Marquez, not to mention the 3 lineal titles he accomplished. If you put it all together Pac accomplishments he will leave Floyd many miles behind.

    8 divisions title
    4 lineal titles
    Fighter of the decade
pro fighter from age of 16 started from 106 up to 150
    etc.

LMAO! it's not even debatable. Only the floydiots butt lickers thought otherwise. but you can't deny the above facts.

Floyd and Pac fought the same past prime Mosley. Pac beat younger prime Marquez at his best weight divisions at 130 and 126 (judge scoring error) > Floyd fought in catchweight also but the didn't followed the signed weight agreement but instead weight cheated Marquez. Stop licking Floyd nuts.

sasakul who? floyd fought the best at their best. pac fought shane when he was done. money fought shane when he was very dangerous after annihilating brickfists. money fought a beast, rejuvenated and healthy cotto. pac fought a weightdrained one. the version clottey already beat. these guys all have loses and were losing to one another. floyd fights them off of huge wins.
