I believe to be in the #1 list, you should be able to pound your opponent and not running away, or holding both gloves againts your face for 12 rounds. Mayweather dont have that...he runs and hides behind his gloves all round long......HOW THE HECK IS HE ON THE LIST?

Why was pernell whitaker #1 p4p when all he does is outpoint you and avoid exchanging? Because he is the hardest fighter in boxing to beat.

Boxing is boxing, there ar emany different styles and styles do not make you pound for pound. What makes you pound for pound is the talent you have and the level of competition you face. Floyd has all the talent in the world, but lacks the competition and never faces anyone who would be a real challenge to him.
