How crazy is it that the #1 GOAT fought the #2 GOAT and there's no footage of it

I liked the Hartley fight because Hartley's record was abysmal and he set ol CZ on fire.

Nobody ever expected CZ to go more than 10 seconds with Wilder ...

There's a lot of great fights in history that leave you scratching your head wondering "what the hell were they thinking not recording this?!". Two fights that spring to mind are the Jeffries vs Sharkey bouts. Given how hugely popular Jeff was at the time and how insanely brutal the matches were, you'd think at the very least, after the first highly entertaining fight that they'd make sure to record the second.

Modern boxing has a lot of issues, but at least we're blessed with the ability to record literally anything without limits.

I know Zelenoff made a bunch of ridiculous videos (some of which are still on YouTube) beforehand.

    I enjoy the boxrec description

Charlie's mouthpiece tasted of liquorice and he specifically asked for the chocolate flavoured one. Clearly there were some shennanigans afoot.

    Hi Buddy.
Of course it's his opinion, you have your opinion on who's the best/goat etc, also we all have our opinions on the best in each division, we all have our opinions on who beats who, the whole forum is based on opinions, when pitching fighters of different eras, all we can have is opinions, nobody can prove anything, just saying.
    stay safe buddy, chat soon.

There was an effort to record the 2nd - the promoter even went so far as to have overhead lights installed, which was not yet the norm back then - but the footage ended up either being unusable or becoming lost (depending on sources).

the brief footage that does exist is not the officially licensed film & was taken by a spectator who smuggled a camera inside a cigar box.
