Just watched the promo vid on fighnews and I gotta say he always talks it good. Cant help but like Holyfield were Toney's talk just makes me laugh and want to see him beat. Have a soft spot of Evander but even I as a fan think he's well past his sell by date. I do think he's carrying on chasing a dream thats never gonna come true.

He dont fight very often and nowdays he's fighting journeymen...how's he expecting to get a title shot? Only hoping perhaps one of the champions will give him a free undeserved shot because of his name which he's not lived up to for many a year now. James Toney stopped him years ago. That should say it all. A fat middleweight stopped a possible ATG heavyweight..why? Because he was shot then! Now he's just even more shot. Retire Evander before someone else brutally KO's you.

Unfortunately, until such time that Holyfield gets beaten by one of the ham and eggers he's fighting these days he will continue. He is in desperate financial shape.

He will probably die in his 70´s. Lets face it. He has taken tremendous punishment in the ring and also count in all the sparring he has had and the amateur career. He will continue taking the punishment.
I hope he wins a title and someone just KO´s him with a bodyshot in the first and he decides to leave.

He needs to fight Haye asap, and get blown away for him to even consider retiring.

Holyfield defaulted on a 10.5 million dollar loan to a bank. His mansion is in foreclosure the last time I checked and was being auctioned off.A consulting company is suing him for over $500,000 for an unpaid bill.He is also being sued for lack of child support. He has serious issues.
Strange, since he made over 35 million for one fight with Tyson.Dude is as dumb as a bag of hammers.:-(

I almost wish he had been blown out by Valuev, he might not still be going this way. But fact is that he got robbed in that fight.

Watching someone so great being pummeled by lesser men is sad for a fan to watch. At that same time, he has not been greatly "beat up" by anyone thus far. Even if so, this is a man's dream. Many people have dreams but quit before they are reality. If he accomplishes his goal, then the world will understand the power of passionate and active dreaming.
