If USKY fights Wilder and wins, Fury will have nowhere to hide. Suddenly that fight means something as USKY has done something no other man (except fury himself) could do. Right now, USKYs claim to fame at heavy is he is the guy who did what Andy Ruiz already did, only he did it worse than the fat man. If Wilder KOs USKY however (not unlikely in the slightest) Fury reigns supreme from all angles. It makes sense Fury swerved the fight and let his Alabama adopted son get that work instead: In one huge ancestral right hand landing on that little cruiserweight temple, putting the pumped up Ukrainian to sleep, the entire era of heavyweights falls into line underneath the throne of the Gypsy King. Fury will have beaten the man, who beat the man, who beat the man who is 1-1 with an obese Mexican middleweight. Fury’s apparent duck of USKY will fade into obscurity; he already sonned the man who sonned USKY. He is, in heavyweight terms now USKYS biological grandfather and Antony Joshua’s legal guardian and owner. Joe Joyce will be the only other guy with any claim to the lineage since he made Joey twelve Parker change his name. Something the Ruiz Joshua Whyteleafe Chisora level guys couldn’t do.
A whole lot of slurping going on with the OP. HW Boxing, truth be told, at the top end, is a complete and utter mess.
Fury already has nowhere to hide and Usyk has nothing to prove. He's the man at HW, seeking the best fights possible whilst Fury fleeces the mugs with dross like Chisora 3 or Ngannou.
As far as I'm aware, Usyk has never ducked anyone, never demanded silly money, never asked for stupid things, never made up stupid excuses, never tasted the canvas, never lost, never been the beneficiary of a dodgy decision. All on the road.
