How did Alex Leapai "earn" this title fight???

Yeah, today is so much better with everyone being undefeated because they refuse to fight other top contenders, right?

 

Actually I was wrong. Wlad should fight guys who don't even weigh 200 pounds on fight night.

 

At least Leapai fought a fighter, unlike Wilder who has never fought anyone nearly ranked at all. Wilder is ranked #3 WBC, but I don't see anyone complaining about it because of the huge double standard against Eastern European fighters..........Vlad has fought lots of big fighters, such as Wach, 6 ' 8 " tall, 250 lbs., Wilder would get knocked out by him, then there is McCline who was 6 feet 6 inches tall, way over 250 lbs, Derrick Jefferson, 6 feet 6 inches tall, Austin 6' 6" tall, and others. Vlad knocked Wilder down with a jab, beat his arse from one side of the ring to the other. It's OK if Wilder gets ranked #3 WBC by fighting nobody at all.

 

Why are you always bringing up Wilder and acting like eastern Euro's are being persecuted? Most EE's are enjoyable to watch and are looking to make real fights. Don't go lumping those guys in with the Klits and then cry double standards because thats not how it is. :nono

 

"Live" fights are more common now than they were back in the day. In the 80s setting up a string of tomato cans for the up and comers to knock over was much easier and more frequent. Today if a promoter tried to do that people would spend their money and time watching MMA. Back then boxing's rival was "WrestleMania".

BTW, Saul Alvarez and Adrien Broner didn't have gimmies.

 

Compare Klitschko's opponents with Wilder's opponents..................so quit claiming that Wilder is a top 3 WBC fighter and the best heavyweight in boxing history. Haye made Wilder drunk in sparring and Vlad knocked your hero Wilder down with a jab, beat his arse from one side of the ring to the other while sparring for the Wach fight. Wach would knock Wilder out............

 

My god stop it already. Everybody knows Wilder hasn't earned his number 3 spot and yes he's even less deserving than Leapai for his ranking. But throwing Wilder's name around does not change the fact that Leapai is a terrible challenger for the heavyweight title.

Plenty of people have complained about Wilder's ridiculously high ranking you choose not to see it because it doesn't fit your agenda.

Looks like Leapai gave Wlad the fight and will not take his offer. I hope K-2 gets out bidded again.

People knows how corrupt Wlad and K-2 are. Wlad should be ashamed for taking another easy fight. If Wlad reallys wants to unify he should drop the worthless WBO belt so the WBC will rank him. The WBO belt is not worth nothing.
