How did Alexander look last night?

Redeemed himself. Very unexpected performance by Alexander. He looks very comfortable @ 147 even though it was a 10rounder I'd suggest he should stay in the division.

 

GOOD. Strong. Still too tense, but he was sitting down on shots so much better, his biggest problem, imo.

 

Punch,hold,punch,hold-and on it goes.Must have trained at the John Ruiz school of boxing.:tired

 

Looked great. School marco all night and almost put him away a couple times.

Alot of holding but blame marco too.

When he let his hands good , he looked great. Im a fan again

 

He did what he had to do to reduce Maidana's effectiveness - throwing flurries and following them up with continuous hugging. It wasn't pretty. It was nervous and tense. But then when Maidana's energy was zapped and he became increasingly desperate, Alexander took advantage and landed some sweet shots.

Good performance. I think he's done a bit to redeem himself for a poor 18 months (Kotelnik, Bradley and Matthysse).

Maidana looked totally out of it, though. I think his best days are behind him.

 

He looked very good. Precision punching and speed and power as well. he hurt Maidana a few times. He won 10-0 on my card and most cards.

I woulnt say he looked like ****. he lked pretty much the same as he did at 140. same technique and same gameplan. Alexander was just leagues above him last night.

 

He looked good. 147 did him wonders he looked strong fast and moved well.

 

Didn't see the fight yet either. My guess is that he threw a lot of really good lead right hands. Jabs, hooks and uppercuts. Along with some really awkward (in a not good way) left hands.
