How did Amir Khan stay on his feet against Maidana but Broner couldn't?

Featherfisted domestic bums would probably drop Broner if he didn't have a 30lb weight advantage.

Maidana couldn't floor Khan landing haymaker after haymaker...

    Something he did to Broner.

    Not once.

    But twice.

    Khan's chin > Broner's chin

    It's irrefutable.

Going off topic here but after watching that round, and see Khan still pull through to win the fight if you compare that **** to the Groves stoppage ...man that still pisses me off something real bad. Allowing that result to stand is unacceptable.

    Good points :good

I personally though Froch was going to get Groves out of there anyway but as Amir proved here- he should've at least been given the chance.

Froch also got screwed there too a bit he should've been allowed the chance to finish him off emphatically.

so 48/70 agree that Broner is glass... Looks like we have a new king of the china mandible.

    Adrien "Pure Glass" Broner

The 22 who did not agree claimed Khan has a "Iron chin" meaning that everyone who voted agrees KHan's Chin > Broner.

On another thread Suck-Da-Willy is trying to claim I'm the only one that thinks this.

This is from a little boy who says Broner throws combo's like prime Ray Leonard and is the future of boxing :lol:

Didn't vote as I think the issue is a bit more complex than the two options.
Whats clear is Khan doesn't have an iron chin, but I don't think Broner is packing glass either.

Even without touching down Khan looked much closer to being finished there than Broner did at any stage of the fight. You also have to look at the fact that Maidana seems markedly bigger and stronger now then he was back then.

When you say that "Maidana clearly catches Khan with much harder shots than the ones that put Broner down" I'm not so sure at least the lefthook in the 2nd that put Broner down I think was harder than any shot Khan took in the 10th.

So yeah difficult to compare man

Nope, I thought Broner was going to get exposed in the next few years. I knew his skills were definitely going to be exposed in the future, and perhaps along with it maybe we would see how his chin was manufactured. Never thought Maidana would be the one to crack his chin first, but his skills are even worse than what we thought they were (not only did Maidana knock him down 2x he dominated the fight). This guy has no future now most likely, Al Haymon/GBP should look into hiring new matchmakers... Or perhaps develop some standardized test for chins before they sign them to contract.

I don't doubt Broner's hand speed but I think his reflexes are much slower than other fighters who use his style. I once read a research paper about how IQ strongly correlates with human reaction time, Adrien Broner doesn't seem like he has a high IQ. If I had to guess I would say Broner's is sub 85 minus 1(cause of the damage Maidana did) so 84. This makes him dumber than 80% of adults. He should adopt a fighting style to accommodate this, where he doesn't need to utilize reflexes as much/make adjustments.

If anyone here thinks Broner is still the real deal or thinks his chin is better than Khans they need their head examined.

Broner is just good at hiding it. Kid probably knew he was glass from a young age and just learned how to deal with the stars swirling around his head.
