How Did Bermane Beat Arreola so Emphatically? Kownacki fought a much worse version of Arreola.

When Stiverne brokeded Arreola's nose it was brutal...

How does this reflect on Kownacki? Arreola has seen much better days

if stiverne had discipline he'd actually have beaten wilder and would have stayed champion for a while if he didn't fight wladimir.

Wilder took his soul when he beat Stiverne and he was never the same again.

Stiverne was tough, well, schooled counter puncher even if nobody wants to say it.

Arreola actually trained hard for the Kownacki fight, said he would retire if he lost and it was his last chance to redeem himself.... Another factor is if Kownacki destroys Arreola easily with Beyoncé Wilder at Ringside watching, he'll never get that title shot against Beyoncé!! So he came in extra Fat to help his case, looked sloppy, was nothing like his previous fight in a destruction of Gerald Washington ... Beyoncé is fighting a 59 year old Kong in his next fight... Kownacki needed to look like an Easy KO Victim for Beyoncé if he's gonna get that next shot after Kong! I hope Kong can pull out one last blast from the past and upset Beyoncé but it's doubtful...

Stiverne back then was actually a pretty solid boxer. It's a shame he turtled up during his first fight with Wilder, because he wobbled him, and probably could have KO'd Wilder had he not pulled a Clottey.

Because if you play into a younger, 'motivated' and semi fit Stivernes strengths, he could be very dangerous and imposing.

Someone like Arreola was made for Stiverne.

This. If not for his laziness and lack of discipline he could’ve had a much better career. He spent most of his prime years doing nothing.

Stiverne much sharper puncher than Kownacki which played right into his style against Arreola.

Stiverne was experienced and when he was in shape was very good at countering and had good timing. Kownacki on the other hand is very green and a very sloppy fighter. Arreola was able to use Kownacki’s sloppiness to his advantage and make it a competitive fight.

If Kownacki’s footwork and timing were better he would’ve ended Arreola in 5 rounds, since he had the power to do it, but couldn’t take advantage of openings Arreola was leaving fast enough. He needs to start sparring lighter faster fighters more often, so he can get used to getting his punches off faster.

That version of Stiverne would have stopped Kownacki as well.
