How did Boytsov look against Guinn tonight?

Boytssov would be favorite against any american hw boxere these days.

Once again I was lured into believing Dominic was going to fight. And once again, Guinn's passive offenses was overcome by what was likely a 5-10 punch/rd difference.
IDK why Dominic Guinn is so passive. It's like he's hitting a joint between rds or something. He whips himself into good shape for a fight, spars like a beast, has all the tools to be a world beater, then gets into the ring and lets himself get outworked.

I haven't seen the full fight and prolly don't need to. Since the decision was posted and from the few short clips of action I saw, it was likely just as I described. I would venture to say that Boystov edged Guinn in power shots by about 30 and overall punches by 50 over the distance.

Not surprising but once again I was fooled by rhetoric.:-(

 

congrats on handing guinn his 8th loss....awesome stuff , now his last 5 opponents have a combined 44 losses...so that makes the 31-0 record all that more impressive

Boystov is still finding his way back after the hand injury but the Russian heavy I'm excited about just now is Magomed Abdusalamov. Typical hard as nails east European with a big punch.
