Oh don’t get me wrong here I’m not some Povetkin hugger and I always thought he wasn’t juiced but I meant from WBC standpoint and how Povetkin failed two test but didn’t fail two tests lol,you can’t make this **** up.
Anyway given Breazele or Povetkin I know who Wilder would rather Face and Joshua not face

Do you even understand the concept of 'mandatory'?

Joshua will fight Povetkin, followed by Pulev/Whyte, in order to fulfil his mandatory requirments.

Your lack of simple boxing knowledge is worrying.

Wilder agreed to a purse bid with Povetkin. Wilder signed to fight Povetkin in Russia. Wilder trained to fight Povetkin in Russia. Then the fight was called.

Joshua and Hearn state up front they will never fight Povetkin in Russia. If there are purse bids and Russia wins, they will vacate rather than fight Povetkin.

    They want Baby Miller instead.

If Wilder did what Hearn and Joshua are doing with Povetkin and Miller, people would call for Wilder's head.

Look, considering everyone says Wilder is a joke and he doesn't deserve any decent split and he brings nothing to the table ...

They sure as hell are up in arms that Wilder is prepared to move on from Joshua.

Wilder will be fine if he never fights Joshua. He has clear goals to shoot for.

Joshua's just left with making mandatory defenses. There are no more belts for him to win without Wilder.

    I do. Hearn doesn't.

As long as they have the IBO belt, which doesn't issue mandatories, Hearn and Joshua will be dumping belts right and left.

In two years time, if Joshua hasn't lost yet, the only belt he'll have left is the IBO strap.

Or the "MATCHROOM BELT" as it will be known.

    Because THEY call the shots.

    Mark it down.

    Kevin Johnson - (WBC International)
    Gary Cornish (Undefeated) - (WBC+Commonwealth)
    Dillian Whyte (Undefeated) - (WBC+Commonwealth+British)
Charles Martin (Undefeated) - (IBF World Title)
Dom Breazeale (Undefeated) - (Voluntary defence)
Eric Molina - (Keep busy....Klitschko fight already signed)
Wlad Klitschko - (IBF+IBO+WBA World Titles)
Carlos Takam - (IBF Mandatory - Replaced Pulev)
Joseph Parker (Undefeated) - (IBF+IBO+WBA+WBO World Titles)

Last 9 fights - Insane standard for a guy who went into these at 12-0.

Wilder is actually lucky Fury went awol, looks like Joshua was going the WBC route.

    Why did they fight Pulev/Takam?

Why hype Povetkin on Joshua's card?

Where does this 'Hearn picking Miller over Povetkin' come from?

Hearn wanted Joshua/Miller in the US + Whyte/Wilder in the UK to hype Joshua v Wilder by introducing each fighter to the other's country.

Hearn hasn't talked about Miller since......He's only talking about Povetkin.

Hence, he put Povetkin on the undercard to hype him.

why do you think.. 'american privilege' that we see in boxing all the time
Why do you think Tevin Farmer has now got a vacant title shot against a total bum in Billy Dib, they are basically giving him the title as a gift .

If Joshua went the Wilder route, it would've been over for Joshua before it ever got started.

And, for the life of me, I don't know what it is about the Brits and Kevin "freaking" Johnson. He wasn't even an ESPN fighter here (when ESPN showed fringe guys at best).

He was absolutely NO ONE of note when Vitali gifted him with a title shot. And then it's like he left the U.S. and never returned. And he just became a punching bag for all the Euro guys.

And you people still bring him up like he is a big name on a record.

I laugh every time his name is brought up.

It's like, "HEY, can you believe so-and-so beat Kevin Johnson?"

He means nothing. Literally nothing. I'm not even trying to be mean. It just makes no sense.

Somehow, some way, he got ranked before Vitali fought him, and nobody really knew or cared who he was. And that was it.

I have no idea how any of you guys got the impression Kevin Johnson was anything. But he literally isn't.

I am about as avid a heavyweight fan as anyone I've ever met. I've been a fan of the heavyweights since the 1970s. It's always been my favorite division, even when it was awful.

And Kevin Johnson IS NO ONE. Especially in the U.S. Beating him means nothing.

So, in the future, if you want to show "how incredibly awesome" Anthony Joshua is, you may want to start with Whyte and leave off Kevin Johnson.

Kevin Johnson is on the list as it's where Joshua's title grab/reign began....13th fight.

He's no 28th fight Audley Harrison though lol.

HE literally talked about it last week. Not even seven days ago.

    Whatever. I'm going to bed.

    Enjoy Joshua-Miller. That's up next.

Followed by Wilder v Harrison II?

I can't believe you can defend a fighter for refusing to trying to unify the Heavyweight championship of the world.

Breazeale is owned by Haymon, so that is why he qualifies, plus the fact that he can't fight at all and was knocked out by Joshua.

Povetkin was declared not guilty, and it was found that he did not take meldonium after its official prohibition that started January 1, 2016. I am so tied for the lies about Povetkin. Plus, Wilder did NOT fly to Russia, hell, we was back in America before a decision was even made. I guess Haymon knew what the decision was............

In WBC you don't need to be ranked first to become mandatory.

I have all of AJ's belts over the WBC strap on my list:

    IBO>WBC.
