Bute landed a good body shot early & Johnson covered up well for the rest of the night. It was more of a glorified sparring session than a fight.
Yep. Either round 2 or 3, I think. Watch rounds 10-11, Bute corners him a couple times and finally pokes holes in Glen's tight D... with power shots, IIRC. Johnson, unlike in the Froch fight, kept his right elbow/arm tucked right in the whole fight. The few times he threw straight rights & overhand rights, it was cautiously calculated. I did like how Froch came back in rounds 10 to 12, looked like the warrior he is. In rounds 7-8 though, double left hooks and big overhand rights were finding the target.
It looked exactly like what it was; A couple of friends putting on an exhibition sparring session then laughing all the way to the bank with their pay cheques.
