joe looked shyte, he couldnt dominate hopkins, he was punching down on hopkns allways gettin tied up, getting made to look like an amateur. Hopkins was doing his own thing controlling the fight, joe had to come see hopkins because hopkins was in controll.... these wild punches are the only reason joe won, hopkins showed he has the more quality.. Calzaghe was always missing, hopkins defence was brilliant.. every time joe got close he got tied up, hopkins was the smarter man hopkins is the smarter man. Joe won through aggression, he didnt dominate ****.. he deserved to win because he scored more punches, but the credit goes to hopkins.. he showed what boxing is all about..

He showed what boxing is all about by tying up calzaghe? I guess John Ruiz is the essence of boxing then.

Joe did reasonably well. Hopkins surprised me with his fast right hand, but in the end, was outworked. Calzaghe did miss a whole lot of shots though. To me, Hopkins proved himself as a legend today, giving someone like Calzaghe that kind of trouble and frustration at age 43.

yea he lost but it dont mean hes dead does it.. its the judges, but the true judges are the fans and i saw hopkins completely take a p4p champion to school joe didnt know what to do, in the end he just got srappy and won on points even his dad said you need to knock him out because you've lost the fight..... hopkins owned joe, joe never saw it coming he believed he would go in the ring and slap hopkins to death, he got sparked in the first round. Hopkins is the better fighter, hes out of his prime at 43 in his prime he would have an easy KO win over joe..

hopkins showed the history of himself, he might have been on the backfoot but he showed what hes all about, at 43 he can still basically outclass a prime champion, joe just won on points, he never comfortably beat hopkins, he was slapping an ugly win, he looked like **** and looked like an amateur

nah he showed the history of himself, at 43 and well past his prime he showed he was the better champion by controlling a prime champion whos one of the best fighters today.. he showed hes the better fighter.. Joe won, but winnings nothing if it looks like ****, winnings winning, but its not really something to be proud of when you slapped a shamless victory.. hopkins made joe look like ****, saying he dominated hopkins is dumb... he managed to win, he didnt do a mayweather.. he didnt show no superior skills, he just won by slapping and agression.. there was no skill in how joe won

sorry but what a load of bollocks, all hopkins did through the whole fight was hug,and hold he was useless IMO just an awkward style for anyone to fight, bernard did not impress me much at all, and you have the cheek to say he showed what boxing is all about, i hope not or i will never watch a boxing fight again
