    this...^

I don't think the average fan gives a **** about Pavlik these days, he disappointed and let down a lot of people and threw away a promising career. I wish him the best and hope he can get it together, but I'm doubtful...

JCCj is a fraud and completely protected...

define National Headlines? I only heard about Pavlik's DUI **** through other boxing sites. I tend to not browse gossip sites like TMZ and I hardly consider that to be news anyways. Same with the Chavez Jr shenanigans

It's obvious the Pavlik story is more relevant news.. Pavlik had been on some pretty major shows in regards to his rehab...

I think he meant it "figure of speach" style.

when KP's DUI news came out, there were like 10 threads at once on the main page here.

I don't know that other than this one that I've still really seen one (atleast like those were) straight up dedicated to the news of JR's 4am DUI 2 weeks before his fight.

Pavlik wasn't even in camp or really what could be considered even "active" at the time.

Pavlik's DUI is a symbol of the tragedy he became, subcoming to the addiction of Alcohol that has nearly destroyed him.

Chavez' DUI is a symbol of his G status, and youthfulness..

    Thar's why Pavlik's is a bigger deal.

    I'd watch.

At a catchweight of 163 so there are no accusations of draining either way.

    Good fight.

Chavez and Pavlik need to fight each other for the Beer-Drinkers Middleweight Championship of the World.
